Welcome to our world of hammers. We have been manufacturing dead blow hammers and soft face zinc hammers for 20 years. We like to think we have got the hang of it by now. Deadblow hammers can be used anywhere, from engineering, to the petrochemical industry, where sparking is an issue, to auto repair shops and even hospitals! Imagine your surgeon providing an accurate and safe blow when chipping away at your bones!

Dead Blow Hammers or recoiless hammers.
A dead blow hammer is a hammer which improves the striking force on the object which is being struck and absorbs this shock wave after it has reflected off the opposite end of the object being struck, so there is no shock travelling back into the hammer which causes recoil.

The head of a dedblow hammer is hollow.
And the bulk of the mass of the head is comprised, in our hammers of steel shot of varying sizes. We use varying sizes for a specific reason but we like to keep this a secret. Lets just say the mechanics of momentum and leave it at that!
The bodies of our hammers are fully mig welded steel, which we then powder coat and supply with nylon threaded heads. The other advantage of these types of hammers is they reduce RSI (carpal tunnel syndrome) as there is no recoil shock being transferred back into the users wrist.

Thankfully, the days of the throwaway world are drawing to an end.
Waste is becoming an issue, not just with regards to our environment but also with regards to the cost of cleaning up the mess and replacing the discarded product.
This deadblow is a perfectly good tool, but becuase it is completely covered in plastic, the whole hammer, which is otherwise perfectly servicable must be thrown away and replaced with a completely new hammer.

So, because of this issue of plastic waste and the waste of a good tool, we manufacture a product with faces of varying materials, Nylon, aluminium and brass so you only need to spend money on replacing the faces when they are worn out, rather than buying a completely new hammer.
There are probably only two companies in the world supplying hammers with screw in faces and we supply the other one with theirs!

There are other manufacturers of soft face deadblow hammers but in order to replace the faces you need a set of tools! We say SCREW THAT! It makes no sense.
It is our hope that when you buy one of our deadblows it will be the last one you ever need to buy.

It may not be the best commercial practice for us but it's good for the environment and good for your pockets in the long term.
Not only this but we are proud of the quality of these hammers and therefore we guarantee the hammer body for life against mechanical failure. In other words, if your hammer falls to pieces, we will give you a new one, free of charge!

We realise that just one or two sizes is not going to be sufficient for the myriad of uses and applications dead blow hammers are required, so we produce 5 standard sizes. If these don't fit your needs it is very easy for us to tailor make to suit you.
